The Ecodesign Award goes into its fourth round! You can submit your products, services and concepts until April 27. The competition awards innovative and sustainable products and concepts with an outstanding design quality. The award is presented by the German Federal Environment Ministry and the Federal Environment Agency and conducted by IDZ. All details at:

Exhibition: Federal Ecodesign Award
During Design Week Berlin
From June 11 to 14, IDZ presents the exhibition of winners and nominees of Federal German Ecodesign Award at Orangelab. The exhibition also invites to a lecture on “Sustainable Material Innovations” by Fraunhofer-Institut UMSICHT on June 11 from 11am to 1pm as well as to the panel discussion: “Can Fashion be Sustainable?” with Heiko Wunder (wunderwerk), Thorsten Rolfes (C&A), Prof. Friederike von Wedel-Parlow (ESMOD), Brigitte Zietlow (UBA), moderated by Magdalena Schaffrin. Free entry.

...to Archimedes Exhibitions GmbH
At the IDZ design excursion in June 2015, the Archimedes Exhibitions GmbH will provide an insight into its working spaces and processes. The company develops and implements interactive experience platforms and exhibits, as well as scenographies and exhibitions. On the basis of projects and objects, Archimedes Exhibitions GmbH will illustrate how brands and themes can be experienced haptically and spatially. During a guided tour through the manufacture, the participants will learn where and how the interdisciplinary team conceptualizes and implements its ideas.

Berlin Showroom, like the city itself, embodies a spirit of relentless growth and constant evolution. As with previous editions, our mission is to showcase inspiring and innovative men’s wear ideas that influence the season’s fashion discourse on an international scale. Berlin Showroom was initiated by Projekt Zukunft/Berlin’s Senate Department for Economics, Technology and Research. It is largely financed by the programme ‘Opening up New Markets’ and the EFRE fund.
