Vitra Design Museum
It is presumed to be the most common furniture in the world and seen everywhere, where there is needed a simple and cheap seating: the white plastic chair. The exhibition illuminates and shows the history of this trivial item.

Session 1: E-Learning with SimMed
SimMed is an interactive e-learning program that enables medical examinations in a virtual environment. The multi-touch screen spans over the size of a table and allows to examine a pediatric patient by means of medical instruments and laboratory findings. Resulting out of a cooperation between Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin and Archimedes Exhibitions, the project tries to reduce the distance between theoretical education and practice.
