Bauhaus-Archiv Berlin presents the broad work of the well-known english designer Jasper Morrison. During the past 35 years he designed numerous pieces of furniture, series of dishes, lights, watches and other objects of everyday-use for companies as Vitra, Alessi or Cappellini.

From 15 September till 19 November we are showcasing our exhibition "More than beautiful: The winners and nominees of the German Federal Ecodesign Award 2016" at the Designhaus in Darmstadt.
The vernissage takes place on 29 September.

From September 29 to October 3, eleven selected fashion labels from Berlin will present their new collections for Spring/Summer 2018 at Fashion Week Paris. For the first time, Berlin Showroom will cooperate with designers from Austria (Austrian Fashion Association) and Switzerland (Mode Suisse). Up-and-coming as well as established designers will showcase together in Paris Marais.

During the annual designerinnen forum conference the Designhaus Darmstadt will offer a lecture on "The matrix of more than beautiful" by Dorothea Hess, who will be talking about evaluating environment and design, product-life-cycles, and the effect on every-day life culture as well as the process and criteria of conducting evaluations according to the sustainability-codex.

As part of the project BerlinPoland Berlin fashion labels and polish clothing manufacturer are invited to attend the B2B Networking Exchange in Berlin.

The aim of the event is the nurturing of a production network between Poland and Berlin. In this capacity, the network is intended to provide support to the Berlin fashion industry in the development of new or previously lacking production facilities, and in this way to increase production capacity.

80 years ago, László Moholy-Nagy founded the New Bauhaus school of design in Chicago, today’s Institute of Design.
The exhibition presents photographs, films, publications and documents of the legendary school and revives the spirit of its experimental workshop atmosphere.
