see 15 Conference
The see-Conference presents at Schlachthof Wiesbaden current trends on the topic of “Visualization of Information” and thus provides insights into areas such as design, architecture, performance, film, art, technology, research and communication.

Details

CREATIVE MINDS AND THINKERS
Alongside data visualisation, the see-Conference today focuses increasingly on sustainable concepts and, therefore, on how illustration can enable society’s truths to prevail over the flood of information. At the same time, visitors at see take home more than a free t-shirt: It inspires them.

Our speakers are inspirational, always opening up new perspectives on how to effectively communicate about the impact of today’s actions on the society and environment of future generations. Interdisciplinary leading creative minds and thinkers from the fields of design, art, architecture, journalism, philosophy, technology and business take centre stage. Berlin Design Week 2022
A physical BNDNWK is planned again for 2022, and will be accompanied by an online program. The guiding theme is “Higher Purpose”.

Details

How will we shape our future? Like many others, we have been asking ourselves over the past year what path to take after the Corona crisis. We believe that now is the time for transformational change and new perspectives.

The great challenge of our time is to develop concepts that reduce our consumption – and with it our production, use of resources, and pollution – while improving our quality of life in a sustainable way. In doing so, we must consider different aspects: Environmental and climate protection, social equity, the economy, global networks and connectivity. What we need is innovation in production and the economy that does not compete with this idea – creativity is not limited to design, it also applies to science and technology.

As such, design can observe, mediate and provide solutions, it can define problems and also solve them. With this year's focus Higher Purpose, you are invited to think and define this "better future" and present ideas on how we can make it happen.

The application deadline is 18. March 2022. All information on the application process, selection criteria and costs can be found on our website, under APPLY.
