Moniteurs are an interdisciplinary design office, focused on orientation, corporate design and digital products. Heike Nehl and Sibylle Schlaich founded the agency in 1994. Since then, they have realized many national and international projects for clients such as BMW, Quartier Potsdamer Platz, the Aufbau Haus and various airports, many of them award-winning.

Our interview took place only a few days before the opening of the new Berlin Brandenburg Airport on October 31, 2020. Moniteurs were responsible for the guidance and orientation system of BER. In our interview, they explain their approach, report how the changes during the long project duration affected their work and describe how it feels to finally get started!
