Our member of the month for June 2022 is Alexander Wodrich. He is the founder and CEO of why do birds, a multi-award winning audio branding, motion design and service design agency based in Berlin-Kreuzberg. “MusiCurve,” an easy-to-use software tool that allows users to change the intensity of a piece of music and adapt it to the dramaturgy of a film, was recently recognized with the UX Design Award | Product 2022. We will present the project in detail in our next UX Design Awards Deep Dive on 15 June. In May, BVG unveiled its new brand sound developed by why do birds.
After studying business administration, Alexander Wodrich began his professional career at the Wunderman agency. He then worked as a brand consultant at MetaDesign for clients including Audi, DHL, eBay, Allianz and Lufthansa. Since 2007, he has headed the Sound Branding division there as a member of the management team. He is a lecturer and regularly appears as a speaker at congresses on the subject of brands and sound.
