Professor Carl Frech is a sought-after expert in design and conception. After his studies at the University of the Arts in Berlin, he worked for eleven years at MetaDesign AG. As a board member there, he was instrumental in building up the company. Until 2022, he was a strategic advisor and chairman of the supervisory board of Fuenfwerken Design AG for more than two decades. He also co-founded several companies and initiatives in design, communication, and innovation, including NEXT AT eG, Intuity Media Lab GmbH, and 5Wx new ventures GmbH.
Carl Frech regularly shares his knowledge and experience in lectures and workshops. He is also involved in voluntary work, for example, on the advisory board of the Master of International Business Management at the Berlin School of Economics and Law. Since October 2005, he has been a professor at the University of Applied Sciences in Würzburg, teaching design with a focus on innovation. Carl Frech lives in Berlin.
