Commissioned by Messe Berlin, Berlin's trade fair corporation, IDZ Berlin has developed the concept and criteria of Purus Innovation Award. The Award takes place on occasion of the biannual trade show CMS dedicated to the building cleaning and service industry. Purus Award honours innovative design and efficiency in professional cleaning product solutions, technologies and services.
The Innovation Award honours outstanding accomplishments in categories such as Machinery, Equipment, Digital Tools and Systems, Washroom Hygiene and Cleaning Products. An independent jury of experts evaluates criteria applying to design – such as functionality, ergonomics, emotional / sensual impact or innovation – and cleaning industry benchmarks, such as sustainability, efficiency or life-cycle costs. The winners and all nominated solutions are presented at the trade show CMS Berlin.
