German Ecodesign Award | Call for entries 2025
From 20 January to 14 April, companies, designers and students throughout Europe can apply for the German Ecodesign Award 2025.
We are looking for imaginative ideas and projects that are outstandingly designed and forward-looking. In addition to market-ready products and services, this also includes conceptual and student work. Design innovations are just as much in demand as technical and social innovations. There are no limits to creativity!

German Ecodesign Award: Exhibition at Esche Museum
Chemnitz is the European Capital of Culture 2025, together with numerous cities and municipalities in the surrounding area. Among them is Limbach-Oberfrohna, the location of the Esche Museum and the first stop of the roadshow ‘Thinking ahead’ 2025.
The exhibition can be seen at the Esche Museum from 20 February to 23 March. At the opening on 20 February at 6 pm, there will be keynote speeches by the exhibiting projects, providing an in-depth insight into the exhibition.

Out of a pool of 440 participants representing 38 countries, the #UXDA25-jury selected 162 nominees to compete in this global competition, celebrating excellence in user experience.

AI in Conversation
Together with our member Archimedes Exhibitions, we invite you to a panel discussion in the AMDX workshop. In the interactive fishbowl format, we will be discussing with our panel guests and the audience.
The aim is to explore how AI may affect not only the way we live together, but also the political, social and creative foundations of our society. What role can AI play in strengthening democratic processes, and where are the risks that could threaten them? How can science, design and culture work together to create AI systems that are inclusive, fair and democratic?

DIVE'25
Design meets politics, business and society: Deutscher Designtag invites you to the DIVE'25 conference in Munich.
The conference brings together experts from design, politics, business and science to discuss the diverse potential of design across disciplinary boundaries together with the audience. Use this opportunity for exchange and dialog and to develop new projects. The IDZ is a member organization of the German Design Day and a cooperation partner of the Federal Design Congress.
