Our member of the month of October is the designer, film producer, and lecturer Mathias Wesselmann. The graduated communication designer has been working in motion design and art direction for film and television for over 15 years. After working at WDR in Cologne and the design studio Remolino in Buenos Aires, he came to Berlin in 2010. There, together with his partner Sarah Schaefer, he founded the film production studio Ciencolores (Spanish for "hundred colors"), which specializes in image and explainer films with a focus on motion design. Ciencolores works with a close network of people from the fields of camera, illustration, and sound design to bring out the best result for each project - as they put it themselves: "Smart films that look great and tell a story." Mathias is also a lecturer at various universities, including the AMD Academy of Fashion & Design in Berlin as well as the Jilin Animation Institute in Changchun and Shanghai Normal University in China.
